Allan Gardens is a popular historical park with greenhouses in downtown Toronto. The planned renovation hopes to create a destination for new and current visitors, leveraging the heritage of the gardens and improving safety. The proposed design includes welcoming entrances and seating at street level, a large space for events and gatherings in front of the conservatory, and environmentally sound garden plantings that provide visual interest throughout the seasons. Current and historical photos of the park are shown. This landscape design and planting plans were developed for a school project.
